Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse is an exceptional player according to BBC Pundit Stephen Warnock and that he gave his all to show that he deserves a place in the 26-man England squad. Stephen Warnock spoke about the Saints set-pieceguru while he was on BBC Radio 5 Live on Sunday. According to Stephen Warnock, Ward-Prowse couldn’t have done anything more to show that he deserves a place in the England team for the Euro 2020 starting later this week.

Saints midfielder Ward-Prowse was named as part of the preliminary 33-man squad for England before he was dropped after the number of players on the England list was reduced to the mandatory 26 for the Euro 2020 tournament. Ward-Prowse then got a second shot at staking a claim to be in the team after the unfortunate injury to Trent Alexander-Arnold.
